About Diana

I am a mom of one boy, currently in preschool, and a former software engineer for about 10 years.  I started CrossFit a few years ago, when my son was about two years old and I was in my mid-30s. After having my son, I quit my job to stay home with him and found that I was not able to lose weight as easily or have the energy that I once had.  I did not have an athletic background, and really had not worked out much, other than occasional classes at the Rec Center or a short jog once in a while. I was never able to get very into it though, and would not stick with it for long. My husband recommended we try CrossFit.  After looking at some websites on CrossFit, I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to do any of the stuff required, but decided to check it out with him anyway since he really wanted to try it. I ended up loving it!! The workouts were different every day, and everything was scaled to my ability level so I didn’t have to ever feel like I couldn’t do the workout.  It was exciting to go to the gym and see what I could accomplish, and even more importantly, the people were fantastic. Not only did I end up completely transforming how I look over the last few years, but I also made so many wonderful friends and love being part of the community. I have improved my strength so much, as well. I went from being unable to do a single push-up or pull-up to completing entire workouts with tons of them.   I decided to become a coach so I could help other people see the same life transformation I did. Today I am the happiest and healthiest I have ever been, and I can’t wait to help others achieve the same!
